Consider some of these questions when you're trying to decide on a place to volunteer.

  • Is there a cause that is important to you?
  • How much time do you have to give?
  • Is there someplace or something that you've always been interested in?

These sites may be useful as you determine where you want to give back:

Connects people looking for volunteer opportunites with organizations looking for volunteers. Allows you to search by cause, age group, etc. 



Provides ratings, reviews and general information about nonprofit organizations. This is a good place to find out more about an organization for which you are considering volunteering.



Lists volunteer opportunites based on your search criteria. Also allows you to search for available jobs or internships. 



Their mission is "We inspire, equip and mobilize people to take action that changes the world." Another good place to search for available volunteer opportunies.
