Our keynote speaker, Dr. Guadalupe Quintanilla, will kick off fall PDW on Monday morning at Centennial with a repeat performance at the Rampart campus in the afternoon. Dr. Quintanilla was a happy little girl living with her grandparents in Mexico. She was smart, and she loved learning. When her family moved to the United States, she faced many challenges. As an adult, Dr. Quintanilla became a prominent professor, was appointed to serve under several presidents, and represented the Unites States at the United Nations.
The title of her presentation is “Success in Education: An Ongoing Challenge.” Her presentation will draw on personal experiences and challenges in her nearly fifty years of teaching, both the parts that have been rewarding and the parts that have been challenging. Her passion is motivating students to develop a love of learning and leading them toward success in education. She is an amazing speaker, and you won’t want to miss this presentation.
